Since establishing as Euroquilt here in Fife in 1990, our experience and reputation in the UK bedding industry has grown. Today dùsal duvets, pillows and mattress topper products remain firm favourites with high street retailers and online bedding businesses.

All of the natural feather and down used by dùsal originates from Europe and, occasionally, Siberia, and is sourced from inspected and reputable producers. The feather and down in our duvets, pillows and mattress toppers is also fresh – before becoming the end product, these natural materials typically spend just a few weeks in our stores.
dùsal are members of the European Down & Feather Association.
Every one of the duvets, pillows and mattress toppers manufactured by dùsal use loose fillings. Many duvets at the more budget end of the scale are ‘carded fibre’, and sandwiched between two fabric layers and then quilted through.
dùsal duvets use completely loose natural and synthetic fills. In our duvets, this is all held in place by the baffle box construction which ensures even distribution without any cold spots.
Unlike the majority of cheap and lower quality filled bedding products, we only use authentic and genuine branded synthetic filling materials in our duvets, pillows and toppers. These are produced by either ADVANSA in Germany or Fossflakes in Denmark.
This approach ensures high quality every time with anti-allergenic products made from fully traceable materials, with some excellent ECO and sustainability credentials.
As a baseline, dùsal manufacture approximately 200,000 pillows and 60,000 duvets annually. These figures have been known to rise to closer to half a million pillows and 180,00 duvets, all well within the capability of our 20+ team to manufacture on our 20,000sq/ft site in Glenrothes, Fife.
One of the world’s best-known labels for textiles tested for harmful substances, STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® provides customer confidence that every component, every thread and filling, has been tested for harmful substances and is harmless in human ecological terms.
Materials used in all dùsal products are STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified and we as a business are also being evaluated to be awarded this standard.
The pure cotton fabric cases used for our duvets, pillows and mattress toppers are all sourced direct from reputable suppliers.
We have a transparent and open supply chain, with emphasis on sustainability and traceability throughout.

Whilst producing an extensive range of standard size pillows, duvets and mattress toppers, dùsal also offer a fully bespoke manufacturing capability – from the blend of the fill to the weave of the fabric and sizes to suit.
